1. SWEET PEE & THE WILDERNESS MAN

Today’s contributor thought her date had no manners, until she did something utterly shameful.

I’d been working 12 hour+ days when I met up for a first date with Wilderness Man. He will forever remain with that name in my memory, because, to this day, I’ve never met a man so in tune with his inner animal. We met up at a bar and talked awkwardly for a while, while he ate and drank like a man who hadn’t even heard of the word etiquette. With a date this hard to stomach, she should have just followed her gut

I was at a club in Brooklyn when he asked me to dance. Something about his smile and the way he moved seemed off, but my brother-in-law insisted he was merely drunk. After a decent time on the dance floor, I reluctantly accepted his invitation for drinks. Our next encounter was beyond telling.

We met at a bar near the Staten Island Ferry and things quickly grew uncomfortable. His demeanor was intense and he kept staring at me with a strange look in his eye. Then he suggested we watch TV and eat popcorn at my apartment. That was my cue to excuse myself from the table. I told him I had to use the restroom and planned to exit through the back door — but he followed me!
