THREATS OF A CRAZED EX
We’re certain this contributor’s ex drank the same Kool-Aid as Kid Cudi My boyfriend and I had been broken up for months, but it was clear that he was still in love with me. I didn’t want to cut him out of my life completely, so I still allowed him to come over and hang out. He’d come over at all times of the day and night—it was almost like he lived with me. My friend and I decided that it just wasn’t healthy for either of us, and that I needed to end things for good. My friend promised to stay the night since I knew he’d be dropping by at some point. At around 11 P.M., he came over and rang the doorbell, but we didn’t answer. He started banging on the door and yelling that he’d break the door down. He then moved to the back door, and finally he opened the garage door. My friend ran to the door with the phone in her hand, prepared to call 911. He stood outside the door yelling and screaming for about an hour. He called us all kinds of names and made numerous threats. My friend and I were completely terrified. This was a side of him that I had never seen in the year we dated, though everyone had warned me of it. In the end, we were forced to call the cops on him, and he had to spend a night in jail. He never contacted me again after that, and I never saw him again.
