My sophomore year of college, I had to share a room for the first time ever. I grew up with all brothers and didn’t quite know what to expect from a female roommate. I’d known her since freshman year and she was relatively quiet and reserved. We rarely saw each other because of our conflicting schedules. But by second semester, things had changed.
One afternoon, I got to the dorm and saw my roommate on the couch with a comforter over her lap. This would have been normal, except it was 80 degrees outside, she was breathing heavy, and she abruptly shut her laptop when I walked in. I knew she was up to something.
A week later, I made my way to my place a little early. I placed the key into the lock slowly and opened the door as quietly as I could, only to find no one on the couch. I did however hear music in the room. I busted into the slightly opened door to find my roommate in the act of masturbating to porn on the Internet!
My roommate’s face was as red as a ripened tomato! “I’m so sorry! I’m so embarrassed!” she said. All I could do was reassure her that it was completely normal and suggested she close the door next time? I felt like such an idiot.
