Product Selection - You need to get the right products in front of the right people. People are obsessed with getting great locations but thats not it. I would go so far as to even say that product selection is more important than the location itself.
Purchasing the beverages in this way will give you a greater profit margin. In the past the schools were the best places to position the soda machine. Now that the machine is not allowed in schools you will have to decide on different products to sell in them instead. There is a demand for beverages in the schools. Some are fruit juices milk and bottled water.
At one time schools were strategic locations for soda vending machines. With the laws now in force banning these vending machines from schools you may have to rethink the type of products that you want to sell through your beverage vending machine. Soda is not the only beverage and in schools there is a great need for beverages such as fruit juice milk and bottled water. Converting your used soda vending machines to handle these products will still keep you in business.
The machine recommended for a small restaurant may be quite different from one that is recommended for an amusement park or a big hotel. Again the type and size of a dispenser of soda would also depend on the number of sodas one wants to be dispensed from the system; a hotel having a bar may need more number of dispensers and a bigger size than one in a roadside restaurant. The size and right choice would also depend on the number of clients and also the long term business plan that one has.
